They now demand ongoing security evaluations and proof that controls are actively monitored, rather than relying solely on passive questionnaires. However, policies are becoming more detailed, often including exclusions related to AI risks, which can lead to confusion and potential gaps in coverage. Consequently, organizations are advised to carefully review policy language and demonstrate their security postures proactively. In the future, AI-powered defenses may become mandatory, pushing companies to continually upgrade their security measures or face higher premiums and limited coverage.
