SonicWall has unveiled nine new firewalls within its Generation 8 portfolio, marking a major leap in its mission to provide purpose-built cybersecurity solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and their customers.

The launch reflects SonicWall’s ongoing commitment to delivering fully integrated security solutions that protect against threats across endpoints, local networks, and the cloud. By combining scalability, affordability, and simplicity, the new Generation 8 series empowers partners to deliver robust, enterprise-grade protection. Each device integrates advanced security features, cloud-based management, Zero Trust access, and expert support — all for a single monthly fee.

“This isn’t just a hardware update — it’s a platform shift,” said Bob VanKirk, President and CEO of SonicWall. “We’re giving our partners the tools to address modern threats while enabling them to evolve from resellers into high-value security providers. With SonicWall Unified Management, embedded ZTNA, co-managed services from our SonicSentry team, and the industry’s first built-in cyber warranty, we’re equipping them to protect customers and grow their business.”

Beyond Firewalls: Building a Complete MSP-Ready Platform
The Generation 8 rollout is part of SonicWall’s wider integrated platform strategy — delivering not just infrastructure, but measurable security outcomes. The platform blends hardware, software, managed services, flexible billing, and third-party integrations to help service providers scale quickly and safeguard clients at every network edge.

Key platform highlights include:

SonicWall Unified Management – A single cloud dashboard for managing firewalls, network policies, access controls, and accounts, streamlining day-to-day operations.

Built-in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) – Embedded licenses on every firewall for modern, secure remote access.

SonicSentry Co-Managed Security – Optional 24/7 tracking compliance and documentation by SonicWall experts.

Cyber Warranty Protection – An industry-first embedded warranty providing $200K in coverage for every managed firewall through the Managed Protection Security Suite (MPSS).

Jason Carter, Chief Revenue Officer at SonicWall, added:

“MSPs and MSSPs need more than just powerful tools — they need business growth support. From flexible licensing to co-managed services, we’re enabling companion to differentiate themselves, improve margins, and meet customers’ evolving demands.”

Generation 8 Firewalls: Designed for Performance and Growth
The new lineup features models ranging from the compact TZ280 to the enterprise-grade NSa 5800, all engineered for exceptional security, speed, and scalability. These firewalls are tailored for small businesses, distributed operations, and mid-sized enterprises.
