To reduce these risks, businesses should build a strong foundation. This includes separating different types of traffic, using business-grade firewalls, and standardizing setups for all locations. Advanced protection like next-generation firewalls and intrusion prevention tools can identify and block threats in real time. Securing remote access with encrypted VPNs and zero trust methods is also vital. Proper user identity management and ongoing network monitoring can help spot suspicious activity early. If issues arise, it is best to consult with vendors or security professionals for specific remediation steps. This ensures threats are addressed correctly and network safety is maintained.
