Webmail services could isolate displayed content or prevent malicious styles from escaping the message boundary. Sadly, many companies do not yet have these safeguards in place. Sometimes, vulnerabilities are dismissed at first, only to be fixed quietly later, leaving users unprotected in the meantime.

The challenge is clear: as technology evolves, so do the methods of cybercriminals. The onus is on companies to implement stronger protections. Meanwhile, users must remain cautious, especially as attackers may already be exploiting these hidden vulnerabilities. Recognizing the potential of CSS-based threats is the first step toward developing safer email practices, ensuring that the human journey with technology continues to advance without being compromised by unseen dangers.
