With over 20 years of cybersecurity leadership in both governmental and corporate sectors, Kellermann will oversee the promotion and implementation of HITRUST’s threat-adaptive security and AI-based assessment offerings. He will also champion operational tools designed to enhance the efficiency of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), including digital results sharing, concierge onboarding, and the company’s recent integration with ServiceNow’s TPRM platform—providing organizations with measurable and dependable information security assurances.

Recent findings from Verizon’s 2025 Data Breach Investigations Report indicate that third parties are implicated in 30% of data breaches. Kellermann’s work will center on helping organizations strengthen supply chain resilience by combining advanced threat assessments with practical enablement resources. His leadership will aim to simplify TPRM processes, lower operational costs, and improve risk mitigation strategies, while also offering guidance to enterprises, industry groups, and government agencies on proven approaches to cybersecurity and compliance.

His professional background also includes leadership roles at Contrast Security, Trend Micro, and Core Security, along with service as Deputy CISO for the World Bank Treasury. In government, he has been appointed to the U.S. Secret Service Cyber Investigations Advisory Board (2020) and served on the Commission on Cyber Security for the 44th U.S. President (2008).
