Forescout Technologies, Inc., a global leader in cybersecurity, announced it has achieved the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Impact Level “In Process” designation, officially listing Forescout Technologies in the FedRAMP Marketplace. This milestone reflects Forescout’s deep commitment to helping federal agencies improve visibility, automate enforcement, and operationalize Zero Trust across hybrid IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments.

The “In Process” designation signals formal sponsorship by a federal agency and active evaluation by an accredited third-party assessment organization, marking a major step toward full authorization at the highest security baseline used by civilian and federal agencies. It affirms Forescout as a trusted platform for reducing cyber risk across complex, interconnected systems—without locking agencies into a proprietary ecosystem.

The Forescout 4D Platform uses a four-step approach—Discover, Assess, Control, and Govern—to help organizations manage and secure their connected devices, enabling continuous compliance and incident avoidance.

“Forescout enables government agencies to extend visibility and mitigate risk across hybrid environments, aligning with the Zero Trust, FISMA, and other cloud modernization mandates guided by NIST security standards,” said Mike Walsh, President, Forescout Government Systems. “This designation validates the trust federal agencies are placing in our platform and presses the accelerator on our ability to support mission-critical operations.”

A Strategic Platform for a Complex Threat Landscape

With more than 20 years of experience supporting federal agencies and the Department of Defense (DoD), Forescout brings proven, real-world expertise to help meet key cyber mandates like FISMA, executive orders, and the federal Zero Trust strategy.

With Forescout, federal customers gain a trusted solution built to modernize security operations, ensure compliance, and control costs.

The platform delivers:

Agentless, real-time asset awareness across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT assets

Continuous posture assessment and policy-based risk scoring for all devices—managed or unmanaged

Zero Trust enforcement through segmentation and access controls

Generative AI–powered dashboards for compliance tracking and risk posture reporting

Unified control across branches, departments, and safety critical environments

Accelerated threat detection and response via real-time insights

Faster deployment and intuitive interfaces that reduce management burden and cost

Aligned with Critical Federal Programs

Forescout’s FedRAMP Marketplace listing reinforces its leadership in high-impact federal cybersecurity programs:

A key partner in the Department of Defense’s Comply-to-Connect (C2C) program, Forescout helps accelerate Zero Trust implementation while maximizing the return on existing C2C policy and enforcement.

Through its agentless architecture and native interoperability, Forescout supports the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, enabling continuous discovery, monitoring, and response across dynamic network environments.
