CrowdStrike Launches Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security

CrowdStrike has unveiled Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security, the first unified solution designed to protect all types of identities—including humans, non-human accounts, and AI agents—throughout the entire hybrid identity lifecycle. Delivered instantly via the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform, the solution secures identities across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and workload environments, eliminating fragmented controls and visibility gaps.

The platform brings together initial access prevention, modern privileged access management (PAM), identity threat detection and response (ITDR), SaaS identity security, and agentic identity protection, providing organizations with a single, cohesive solution to prevent identity-driven breaches across multiple domains.

“Organizations need reliable identity security immediately, not months down the line,” said Mike Sentonas, president of CrowdStrike. “Falcon delivers modern identity protection without architectural compromises or integration delays. Enterprise access today is dynamic, spanning users, machines, and AI agents across hybrid systems. Falcon is engineered to handle this complexity at scale, giving organizations the speed and accuracy required to stop modern identity attacks.”

Identity: The Key Target for Attackers

Adversaries increasingly exploit identities as the primary route to breach organizations. Threat actors target a wide range of identities, including human users, service accounts, SaaS credentials, and AI agents. AI agents, in particular, represent highly privileged “superhuman” identities with continuous access to critical systems and data, significantly expanding the attack surface. Traditional IAM solutions and legacy PAM tools are often insufficient against attacks that traverse endpoints, cloud, SaaS, and identity systems simultaneously.

Comprehensive Protection Across All Identity Types

Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security addresses these vulnerabilities by offering continuous protection across all identity types and stages of the identity attack chain. From initial access attempts to lateral movement, the platform secures human, non-human, and AI agent identities across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments. Powered by CrowdStrike’s agentic AI, it enables autonomous threat detection, investigation, and response in real time, all within a single platform.

The solution allows organizations to strengthen their security posture immediately, without waiting for multiple integrations or managing disjointed identity tools. Using a lightweight agent and centralized management console, Falcon delivers real-time visibility, dynamic access enforcement, and automated response for every identity across every domain.

Core Capabilities of Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security

Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security combines four critical capabilities for end-to-end identity protection in hybrid environments:

Initial Access Prevention: Leverages endpoint signals, advanced threat intelligence, and AI trained on trillions of events to authenticate identities and block attacks before access is gained.

Modern Privileged Access Management (PAM): Provides just-in-time access, removes standing privileges, and adjusts permissions dynamically based on real-time risk across multi-cloud and hybrid systems.

Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR): Detects and mitigates identity-based attacks using cross-domain telemetry and agentic AI to enforce policies, prevent lateral movement, and stop privilege escalation.

SaaS Identity Security: Monitors cloud-first applications, identifies misconfigurations, flags risky behavior, and governs excessive access for human, non-human, and AI identities.

By consolidating fragmented tools and workflows, Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security gives security teams unified visibility, automated enforcement, and autonomous response across all identities. Organizations can deploy the solution quickly and gain immediate protection, closing critical gaps in their identity security posture without delay.
