Three keynote speakers to captivate thousands of cybersecurity professionals around key cybersecurity topics from cyber warfare and ethical hacking to high profile data breaches

ISC2 – the world’s leading nonprofit member association for cybersecurity professionals, announced three keynote speakers for the ISC2 Security Congress, taking place October 28-30, 2025, in Nashville, TN and in a global virtual format. This year’s keynote speakers will take the stage in front of 4,000 cybersecurity professionals from around the world to lead thought-provoking discussions on critical cybersecurity topics, including AI, ethical hacking, and leadership – providing insights that empower cyber professionals to navigate the industry’s evolving landscape.  

Cyber Technology Insights : NETSCOUT Enhances Omnis Cyber Intelligence with Adaptive Threat Analytics for Faster Incident Response

The keynote speakers for ISC2 Security Congress 2025 include:

Brian Krebs, cybercrime investigative journalist and author, will share stories of high-profile data breaches with global corporations and how determination, perseverance and commitment to the truth can fight against fraud.

Phil Venables, partner at Ballistic Ventures and strategic security advisor at Google, will discuss scaling security programs: how to take security from the artisanal to the industrial, across software supply chains, cloud security, AI for security and more.

Alissa Knight, renowned vulnerability researcher and author, unveils her groundbreaking new AI platform that autonomously hacks mobile apps and APIs. See the future of cyber warfare through the eyes of an adversary: an agentic, self-healing system designed for continuous, live-fire cyber exercises against target networks.

“This year’s keynote speakers will challenge attendees to think differently, embrace innovation and encourage continued commitment to creating a safe and secure cyber world in the face of today’s most pressing cybersecurity issues,” said ISC2 Acting CEO and CFO Debra Taylor, CC. “The keynotes will complement an enriching slate of breakout sessions led by cybersecurity professionals from around the globe.”

In its 15th annual event, Security Congress will have more than 80 sessions focused on cloud security, careers, cyber leadership and ethics, frameworks, standards and guidelines, GRC, SecOps and threat response, software security and more. Additionally, the event will include bright idea roundtables and pre-conference workshops on cyber leadership, AI strategy, threat modeling AI systems, CISSP certification training and more. Attendees will gain actionable insights, earn up to 78 CPE credits and network with others in the cybersecurity industry.
