Sherweb, a leading global cloud distributor, has finalized the sale of its subsidiary, Pulsar360, to ClearlyIP, a prominent provider of VoIP and cloud communication services. The move marks a strategic alignment of both companies’ strengths, with a shared mission of delivering outstanding value to their customers.

The decision enables Sherweb to concentrate on expanding its marketplace platform and enhancing its support for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and System Integrators (SIs). At the same time, Pulsar360 will transition to an owner whose core expertise lies in VoIP innovation, positioning the business for accelerated growth and service excellence.

“This transition is about focus and fit,” said Matthew Cassar, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Sherweb. “By shifting Pulsar360 to ClearlyIP, we’re arrangement it with a team that knows the business inside and out and is best equipped to help it succeed. This allows us to accelerate our marketplace initiatives for MSPs and SIs while ensuring Pulsar360 customers benefit from a company whose core business is delivering world-class VoIP solutions.”

ClearlyIP officially took over Pulsar360 operations on August 7, 2025, including its staff, customer base, and core technology assets.

“We are excited to conduct Pulsar360 and its customers into the ClearlyIP family,” said Preston McNair, CRO and Co-Founder of ClearlyIP. “Our companies share a commitment to service quality, reliability, and enabling business communications to thrive. Since our team originally built much of Pulsar’s telephony infrastructure, this feels less like an acquisition and more like bringing it home.”

Both organizations are working closely to ensure a smooth transition, keeping customers and partners informed and supported at every stage.
