This ease of deployment allows even those with minimal technical skills to rapidly generate large volumes of counterfeit websites that look convincing enough to deceive users.

The reason behind these increasing attacks is largely the efficiency and speed made possible by artificial intelligence. Security expert Devroop Dhar explains that these AI-generated fake sites can be quickly created, cloned, and scaled to many domains within minutes, unlike traditional phishing pages that required more time and effort. As a result, cybercriminals can launch a higher number of attacks with greater likelihood of success, targeting employees or users who might be fooled by the sophisticated appearance of the fake websites.
